The Haywain (ca. 1500) by Hieronymus Bosch (ca.1450-1516)

The allegory here is that the world is a waggon of hay and evey one
is out to grab as much hay as they can, all the while the waggon is being
pulled by demons towards the right panel, which shows one of Bosch's earliest
depictions of hell
