From: morbid@cs.utexas.edu (Jeffrey Bob Berthiaume) Newsgroups: alt.binaries.pictures.d Subject: KFoote series of gifs in alt.bin.pic.misc Date: 21 Oct 1993 21:47:41 -0500 Organization: CS Dept, University of Texas at Austin The KFOOTE series of GIF files were originally t-shirt designs by Ken Foote, a graphics artist in Fort Worth, Texas. He also has different poster designs, but I would need to ask him for copies of them to scan. If there is interest, I'll see what I can get. I have permission from the artist to scan these pictures (he and my girlfriend are friends). Basically, his pictures are a new-age sort of style...reflecting an endangered theme. He feels that celtic design is dying out, along with endangered species, and so put the two together. My favorite drawing of his is KFOOTE01.GIF, titled "Vanishing Eagle", where he has a picture of a golden eagle fading into a background of a celtic knot. If you like celtic art, or endangered species (well, okay...a few eagles, a wolf, a puma, some weird dragon sort of things, a fairy...)
